The Tear of Afrodite (Giola)

At about four kilometers from Astrida is Giola. It is a natural lagoon, which looks like a pool in the rocks. The water is slowly refreshed by the sea wave and that is why it is very hot. You can swim, dive from the stairs, which form the rocks or enjoy the sun on them, as there is no sandy beach. The area was not very well known and its access is considered difficult even for the most daring. To reach it you have to drive 2-3 km of dirt road. At the end of the road you leave the car and continue on foot, following the arrows that are engraved on stones, which will lead you to see it!
